Outsmart Your Genes

You will always have the genes you were born with, but our genes react to their environment, responding to what you eat and drink, how you think, how you sleep, and how you respond to stress.

 

Genetics loads the gun, but your environment (diet, stress, lifestyle) pulls the trigger.

This unique program combines genetic insights, lifestyle design, and health coaching.

  • How does a DNA test optimize my health?
    It will give you important clues about how to design your diet and lifestyle for a lower probability of disease and a longer healthspan. It also provides a shortcut to the long road of trial and error that many people experience when they start making healthy changes.
  • How will health coaching help once I get my DNA report?
    DNA testing is just the starting point. Although you will discover many valuable insights, what many people need support with is taking action on their results. Behaviour change is hard, and it's a very personal experience. Most people don't have the tools. resources or knowledge of how health behaviour change works for them.
  • Can you outsmart your genes without doing a DNA test?
    Yes, but it's a more generalized approach. You can still make targeted lifestyle changes based on the latest science that will improve your overall health and well-being.
  • What about Oura rings, Whoop straps and Apple watches?
    It’s important to note the difference: DNA testing is focused on your genetic tendencies or predispositions, and wearable data provides important feedback about how your lifestyle is working for you in real time. Both can play an important role in maximizing your health potential.
  • What if you already have your DNA results?
    Many clients have already invested in DNA testing, but they have not yet taken action on the results. Often they are overwhelmed by the information, or simply don’t know where to start with implementation. We will work with your existing results to create a personalized coaching program.
  • Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?
    I offer in person sessions for those in the Toronto area and serve clients virtually across Canada and the USA.

A Group Health Coaching package is for you if you’re looking to recalibrate your daily habits and routines in a supportive group format.   

 

In this program we combine the power of evidence based lifestyle changes and Health Coaching.
